We’re seeking thoughtful, experienced professionals to serve on the 2025 Communities of Excellence Assessment and Recognition Panel. Reviewers help evaluate applications submitted by communities working to improve quality of life using the Communities of Excellence (COE) Framework. Whether you're new to COE or a returning reviewer, your insights can make a real difference.
What Reviewers Do:
- Review applications from communities at Levels 1–3 of our Recognition Program.
- Provide objective written feedback based on an established review process.
- Collaborate with a small team of fellow reviewers.
- Participate in two virtual meetings along with independent work.
Key Dates:
- Application Period: April 21 – May 15, 2025
- Training & Reviewer Assignments: Late June
- Application Review Period: July through September
- Feedback Reports Complete: October 1

Who Can Apply?
We welcome professionals from all sectors who:
- Are familiar with the Baldrige Framework or .
- Have experience in community collaboration, development work, or cross-sector leadership.
- Are committed to providing constructive, inclusive feedback.
New reviewers are paired with experienced team leads and receive training and support.
Cost To Participate
There will be a $75 fee to participate in the Reviewer Training if you are new or have not served with us in the last three years. Due to the growing number of community applications, the increasing maturity of the applications, and the coordination necessary, we've had to expand our trainings and our staff time investments into the program.
